    Hello Jayce,

    Got the link to your site from my friend Dave (see below).

    I love the way you demo'd your radios in the video section by playing vintage music on them via your own transmitter. That was totally unexpected and really a great creative touch in addition to your dialogue about them. Very informative.

    My first transistor radio was in 1959 and I can no longer remember what model it was but it was a four transistor one. It used a 9 volt battery and as the battery wore down the sound and sensitivity would drop until I put a new battery in. I could get extra sensitivity out of it by placing it next to our land line telephone and it would couple with the copper wires and really pick up everything then. Neat stuff.
